So one of the Apps I love most on my iPad is Flipboard, kind of an online magazine that you can assemble yourself. Flipping through the Smitten Kitchen blog is a particular pleasure, and when we were in Palm Desert I came across this recipe for Sweet Potatoes with Pecans and Goat Cheese.

Last night I made it and it was DELICIOUS. She basically suggests you bake rounds of sweet potato at a high heat until they turn caramelized and soft in the middle, then you top them with a mix of goat cheese, shallots, dried cherries and pecans, in a slightly tart dressing.
